Change Control Analyst:

 

American National is seeking an experienced Change Control Analyst to join our team!

 

Integration Management (IM) team are responsible for the coordination, documentation and migration of submitted program code and JCL changes to the test and production environments. The individual will be responsible for continued review and revision of all processes and procedures related to the IM team and associated processes. Other duties included, but are not limited too;

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with specific platform and system requirements.
  • Schedule code migrations, review submission requests for completeness, communicate with business users and/or developers and retain the documentation.
  • Perform peer reviews on all processed migrations ensuring that IM standards.
  • Assists in the review and update of IM processes and procedures in accordance with best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor, process, and reconcile the IM mailboxes for normal request submissions and Emergency Access Requests.
  • Ensure that the SDLC Change Management process is enforced.
  • Supports the needs of the organization 24/7, 365 days a year, through a rotating on-call schedule. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent IT experience in lieu of education.
  • Strong planning, organization and multitasking skill.
  • Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly adaptable to change.
  • Excellent communication skills especially, in regards, to listening, understanding and interpreting requirements and instructions.
  • Work in an independent and team environment.
  • Ability to decipher problems quickly and propose resolutions in a timely manner.
     
     

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Office experience, especially Microsoft Access databases.
