Telecom Analyst


American National's Voice Communications team is looking for a Telecom Analyst to help support enterprise wide telecommunications systems.     


Job Requirements:

  • Candidates will have the following:
  • IT support experience and familiarity with basic industry terminology is required.
  • A college degree from an accredited educational institution is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of telephony fundamentals is required.
  • Basic understanding of VoIP is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and quality- oriented.
  • Aptitude for learning more advanced telephony concepts.
  • Proven customer service skills in person or over the phone.


Essential functions

  • Initial triage all areas of technology supported by Voice Communications.
  • Work with senior technicians to respond to incidents.
  • Develops positive, effective working relationships in all interpersonal interactions.
  • Implements the installation, removal, transfer, and maintenance of telephony equipment on the network.
  • Provide technical support for voice systems, user assistance, and first level assistance for end user issues.
  • Assures efficient processing of telecommunication support requests.
  • Maintain telecommunications inventory records.
