American National is seeking a Corporate Recruiter!  This role is REMOTE or may choose to work onsite at any of our corporate locations.  The Recruiter role is responsible for delivering a high-level candidate experience, developing strong relationships with hiring teams, and managing a full lifecycle recruitment process.


How you will make an impact

  • Actively manage the full life cycle hiring process across the enterprise (Internally and externally)
  • Lead position intake meetings as the subject matter expert
  • Provide expertise on industry movements and review/apply innovative recruiting techniques to ensure competitiveness in hiring
  • Source active and passive candidates utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing methods
  • Pre-screen applicants by reviewing resumes, coordinating required testing, and conducting phone screenings
  • Manage and coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and interview teams
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, searches, leader interactions, and other recruiting activities
  • Provide offer recommendations to leadership teams and present to candidates
  • Participate in career fairs, networking, and recruiting events as needed



  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred
  • Two years of recruitment experience desired (preferably in a corporate environment)
  • Knowledge of recruitment-based web sites and sourcing tools
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors experience a plus!)
  • Understanding of labor laws, equal employment opportunity, and fair employment practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and thorough follow-up
  • Passion to provide the highest quality of customer service
  • Industry designations/certifications (SHRM-CP and/or PHR) preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


In review of candidate qualifications, education, and skills, another job level may be considered.  “Salary for this position can range from $48,515 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $60,644 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.”
