Multi Line Regional Business Consultant
American National is seeking a Regional Business Consultant for the Great Atlantic region (MD, PA, DE, VA, WV). This role is responsible for supporting the Regional Field Executive in achieving the strategic goals and objectives of the assigned territory. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and selection of Multiple Line General Agents and Agents throughout the regional operation.
  • Leads the annual business planning process with Multiple Line General Agents and Agents.
  • Works closely with the Regional Field Executive to drive performance in the region.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Regional Field Executive, Agency, and other corporate departments.
  • Facilitates training for Multiple Line General Agents and Agents.
  • Partners with Life Sales Directors and Ag/Comm Specialists to create specific strategies to drive results.
  • Ensure compliant business practices throughout the regional operation.
  • Leads the development of Agency level profitability plans when needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Industry knowledge and sales management experience 3-5 years; preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in sales/business management.
  • L&H and P&C licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain if hired).
  • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required.
  • Must be results-oriented with the ability to change priorities as needed.
  • Proven client management skills; experience with building effective relationships, credibility and rapport with business partners and leaders in a corporate setting.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Must have a strong ability to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority and urgency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask on many different projects concurrently.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • An understanding of insurance contracts and licenses is preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in driving business results.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the territory and to other corporate locations.
