Field Support Specialist


American National is seeking individuals, with or without insurance experience, who possess a desire to provide elevated level of service to our field agents.  We are looking for customer advocates who are self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.  The Field Support Specialist is an expert phone representative responsible for supporting our agent staff on the following: log-in and software support, licensing and commission queries, Life and Annuity case statuses and product support.  If you are looking for a rewarding career with a stable, growing company who focuses on your success – Apply today!


Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Answer incoming calls to assist independent producers, brokerage firms, marketing companies, financial institutions, broker/dealers and registered representatives with questions relating to products distributed through Independent Marketing Group
  • Provide company product and service information to interested parties requesting or requiring such assistance
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to these inquiries or requests instilling a favorable Company image
  • Various projects including outbound calls and scheduling


The most successful candidate will possess the below qualifications and attributes:

  • Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Prior insurance experience or general knowledge of life and annuity products (strongly preferred)
  • Prior banking/financial experience (strongly preferred)
  • At least two (2) years of customer service experience required, call center experience (strongly preferred)
  • Excellent written or oral communication skills
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task with effective time-management skills
