Insurance Sales and Marketing Representative

The Sales and Marketing representative is crucial to the success of the field agent sales force with the American National Health Division.  You will work directly with current and potential licensed agents by providing product knowledge, creative sales and marketing advice, troubleshooting assistance, and a variety of other general support and education.  You will recruit new licensed agents to our company to enhance and diversify the agent sales force.  This position will also allow you the opportunity to become a licensed in- house agent as we grow our direct consumer sales division.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales leads
  • Promote products and services to new and existing agents
  • Meet and exceed sales goals
  • Negotiate and prepare contracts with prospective agents
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing
  • Understand and promote company programs
  • Maintain agent records and updating databases
  • Answer agent questions about products, premiums, and availability

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sales aptitude and persuasiveness
  • Insurance concept knowledge (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products, such as Excel and Outlook
