Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Manage the inner office of a district in a manner that will free the District Manager to concentrate his/her efforts on sales and service.
  • Make numerous decisions regarding the daily operation of the district, as well as initiating and coordinating the clerical and secretarial functions required in effective implementation of administrative policies of a district office.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records of the district office.
  • Responsible for receiving and applying renewal and new business premiums.
  • Answer policy related questions to policyholders by providing valid and correct information
  • Offer problem solving solutions within district office consisting of customer service complaints, inquiries from Home Office or Agents, applying premium collections, monetary transactions or analyzing situations to find and solve the problem.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 or more years of supervisor and management experience.
  • Experience working in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to understand and master all procedures in the Inner Office Procedure Manual and the District Operations Procedure Manual.
  • Understand the Company's accounting system, including use of Internet and on-line applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel and creation of spreadsheets.
  • Must be familiar with, or capable of learning policy application forms, basic company insurance plans, insurance terms used in the field offices and be able to communicate these terms with agents and policyholders within 3 - 6 months of employment.
