Customer Service Representative (Claims) 

The Claims Access Department is seeking a full-time, Customer Service Representative team member.

How you will make an impact

  • Manage incoming phone calls, setting up new claims that are exclusive to auto glass damages-First party only*
  • Verify policy coverage, provide guidance regarding repair facilities, and navigate the claimant through the process
  • Provide detail on appropriate steps to get the vehicle moved to a safe location for inspection of damage(s)
  • Monitor various internal systems for incoming claims reports and messages
  • Conclude claims in compliance with all state rules and regulations
  • Maintain applicable license(s): Completing ongoing continuing education at no cost to you


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently hold an active (Texas) adjuster license or willingness to obtain following date of hire (American National will incur fees associated / No out of pocket expenses)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in a call center and/or customer focused positions
  • Bi-lingual skills
  • Commitment to the (ACE) culture / Agility, Collaboration, Engagement
  • Positive phone disposition, with the ability to maintain confidence when communicating resolution to clients
  • Strong cognitive and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to learn and retain information quickly
  • High attention to detail and follow-up
  • Passion to provide the highest quality of customer service to clients
  • Aptitude to navigate various computer programs simultaneously (Microsoft Office applications and internal systems)
  • Commitment to ongoing education in relation to the company and products/services offered
