Claims Customer Support Supervisor

If you love the challenge of leading a team and collaborating with your peers to make a difference, you may be a fit as a Customer Support Supervisor in our Claims Access Center.

 

This position supervises a team of motivated team members helping clients report claims, offer services and assist after claim report.  You’ll be responsible for performance management, selection, training and motivating your team to succeed. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of a team of representatives responsible for handling calls for P&C claims
  • Interviewing, hiring, coaching, evaluating and counseling direct reports
  • Collaborate to establish and improve service based metrics for the team and meet those expectations
  • Support and champion an Agile, Collaborative culture in an environment of Engaged team members (ACE) as a part of the leadership team for American National
  • Work with business partners to leverage opportunities to provide great experience’s for our clients

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience; Computer knowledge and experience required; training and experience with MS Outlook preferred; Bilingual skills helpful
  • Ability to apply American National FIRST principles. Leadership interest or aptitude as demonstrated by experience, training and behaviors.
  • Prior call center or customer service experience
  • Ability to work 8:00 to 4:30 and on evenings/weekends/holidays if needed
