Customer Service Representative II

You will be dedicated to providing service to agents and clients in response to their billing related inquiries and requests. What You’ll Do:
Assume responsibility for the timely set up and maintenance of insurance policy payment plans.
Assume responsibility for incoming inquiries via phone, e-mail, fax, etc., from clients and agents concerning premium billing as it relates to their insurance policies.
Research and resolve billing related issues.
Assume added responsibilities for fellow team members as needed in a team atmosphere.
Reconcile payments received, correct misapplied payments, research payment history, process stop payment requests, and issue refunds when applicable.
Process reinstatements on policies that have lapsed.

 

Required Qualifications: 
Prior customer service experience
Positive phone disposition, with excellent oral and written communication
Accounts receivable/payable training or related experience and strong mathematical skills
Passion to provide the highest quality of customer service, demonstrating ownership of billing related inquiries from start to finish
Interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a team focused environment

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30AM ET - 4:30PM ET

Salary for this position can range from $35,000 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $44,000 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.
