Premium Audit Reviewer

American National is hiring a Premium Audit Reviewer to join our team.

 

What will you do?

  • Review and analyze operational and financial information from premium audit and policyholder provided reports to properly classify risks, identify exposures, and compute the appropriate premium.
  • Handle Premium Audit disputes which requires an understanding of state regulations and premium audit rules and the ability to explain them in a clear, timely and understandable manner to internal employees and agents.
  • Handle Premium Audit disputes by applying state regulations and audit rules to each case. Communicate the reasons and outcomes of the disputes to internal employees and agents in a clear, timely and understandable manner.   
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the applicable line of business guidelines and regulations for each state.
  • Manage Premium Audit Vendor relationship(s)
  • Ability to review and make recommendations to current workflow processes for improvement and automation opportunities.

 

Recommended Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in Commercial Insurance Premium Audit Department or Premium Audit Firm
  • Associate degree and/or Insurance Certifications preferred.
  • Skilled in basic math and proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong problem solving, reasoning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function in fast paced environment and maintain attention to detail.

 

Salary for this position can range from $34,963.50 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $54,435.50 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.
