American National is seeking a Pension Case Designer.  Location may be remote or at any of our corporate locations. This position is responsible for creating proposals for the sale of ANICO life and annuity products inside qualified plans. The primary objective of the position will be working with our field force to design and market qualified plans for business owners with or without existing pension and profit sharing plans (Defined Benefit, Profit Sharing, and 401(k) plans). This position is key to the sales and implementation process and in training agents/advisors to sell a plan and educating them on the subject of qualified plans.



  • Bachelors degree in Business or a Business-related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in qualified plan design and/or administration
  • Extensive pension knowledge and ability to field questions from producers, clients, and their advisors.
  • Knowledge of all types of plans as referenced above
  • Knowledge of insurance products (life, annuity, and mutual funds)
  • QKA, QPA, and CPC designations a plus
  • Experience with pension proposal and administration software and the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills



“Salary for this position can range from $78,025 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $97,530 for more highly qualified candidates.  Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.”
