System Administrator (Human Resources)

Are you a self-directed learner who has experience utilizing and managing a HRIS. system? American National is seeking a full-time, Human Resources Information System Administrator who will not only manage the current SuccessFactors system in use today but will also lead the transition to our new system, Ceridian Dayforce. To thrive in this position, you will have experience in an HRIS. system both as a user and administrator, preferably been involved in a system implementation, and provided effective solutions to key stakeholders. 

How you will make an impact: 

  • Actively involved with the transition from SAP/SuccessFactors to Ceridian Dayforce
  • Provide day-to-day operational support and maintenance, across all modules of both the current and updated HRIS
  • Serve as the first line of support for system inquiries  
  • Own the configuration, maintenance, operations, and ongoing administration of our systems, in collaboration with the Systems Manager 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and innovation cycles
  • Responsible for day-to-day system administration which will include establishing processes, communication plans, and security administration that support the company’s strategic objectives
  • Partner with technical teams to safeguard system compliance as it relates to SSO, IP addressing and integrations
  • Responsible for submitting and managing tickets with external support vendors
  • Serve as a project lead on implementations by providing input/assistance with configuration and development, process mapping & tasks, system testing, system readiness, training, and change management
  • Function as the reporting administrator to configure and maintain reporting tools including dashboards, analytics, online, & ad-hoc tables
  • Work closely with HR. business partners, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Data Analytics, and other teams to design, support, build new processes and configure the system

Qualifications required:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience considered
  • Experience navigating a full suite HRIS. system that includes Talent Management, Payroll, and Work Force Management. (Mixture of both functional end user and technical administrator experience is highly desired) 
  • Ceridian Dayforce experience is beneficial
  • Experience with system configuration, administration, and testing
  • A self-directed, customer-oriented individual with a proven track record of seeking out new approaches and owning solutions to problems, challenges and opportunities
  • Must have a high degree of comfort with technology and reporting; advanced computer skills with high proficiency in Excel (V-lookups, managing large sums of data)
  • Available to work onsite. 




Salary for this position can range from $80,000 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $100,000 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
