Quality Assurance Manager

 

American National is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. In this role you will support P&C Claims Operations by ensuring that audits and validations conducted by the team are conducted with a high level of accuracy and consistency. You will help transform the client experience by actively identifying, analyzing, and recommending improvements focused on service and operational compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

 

What You’ll Do

 

•    Responsible for the leadership of Quality Improvement team(s) within P&C Operations.
•    Mentor and develop each member of the Quality Improvement team.
•    Collaborate with senior leadership on the development of the overall Quality Improvement strategy and roadmap for P&C Operations.
•    Lead the delegation and prioritization of the team’s projects and ensures the projects are completed timely.
•    Creates, analyzes, and maintains queries, reports, and dashboards (i.e., PowerBI) used by the team or other areas of P&C Operations; analyzes business results, identifies trends, and issues, and makes improvement recommendations to stakeholders as needed.
•     Validate audit guides to ensure calibration and consistency of results. Analyze the results of the audits.
•    Validates and reviews queries, reports, and dashboards prior to being sent to areas within P&C Operations.
•    Interacts with all levels of the claims staff, internal partners, senior staff, external resources, and regulators, including but not limited to assessments, audit, training, coaching, performance management, and presentations.
•    Improve processes and procedures while maintaining technical bulletins, procedures, policies, practices, guidelines, and official records for the business area.

 

What You’ll Need

 

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, or a related field
•    Eight to Ten years of claims handling experience
•    One to Two years of supervisory/management experience preferred
•    CPCU, AIDA, ARC, or similar industry designation preferred
•    Expert use with estimating software and management systems software.
•    Ability to initiate, plan, implement or evaluate programs.
•    Must have strong communication and people skills.
 

 

 

 

Salary for this position can range from $88452.00 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $110,565.00 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
