How you will make an impact

Oversee leaders, remove project roadblocks, influence stakeholders, advocate for innovation


  • Elevate team member performance and seek ongoing opportunity to improve all aspects of the project implementation process
  • Level set goals that meet company objectives while driving enhancements to team productivity and work quality
  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to develop project charters/business plans and assist in presenting charters to the executive committee for approval
  • Execute responsibilities critical to the implementation of large and complex projects with regular senior leader touch points
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge across a broad range of property and casualty operations, industry regulations, and product knowledge
  • Continuously assess new applications and technologies to improve departmental/organizational performance
  • Actively engage with industry peers to gain insight into new methods and practices
  • Effectively collaborate with Corporate Technology Services and business area managers to develop compressive solutions to current and anticipated obstacles 


Minimum Qualifications

  • Five + years of project management and/or business analyst work experience
  • Four + years of formal supervisory/management experience
  • Ability to Influence Others -Voice of the business / Move forward projects
  • Maintain and demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skill; Successfully creating/maintaining professional relationships and being comfortable managing difficult conversations with ease and confidence 
  • Ability to utilize critical analysis skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to effectively manage time and provide appropriate follow-up
  • Ability to navigate various computer programs simultaneously while utilizing noted applications (Microsoft Office and internal systems)
  • Ability to travel to home office locations and conferences as needed (Please discuss expectations with leadership team)   


Preferred Qualifications

  • Four year completed degree in relevant field
  • Project Management Professional designation or Scrum Master certified
  • Familiar with AGILE methodology
  • Property and Casualty Underwriting experience (Workflow type projects)
  • Guidewire and Duck Creek system familiarity 


Salary for this position can range from $100,382 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $125,478 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.
