As the Senior Events and Engagement Specialist in our Glenmont office, you will use your corporate planning expertise to provide our employees and stakeholders with memorable and seamlessly executed events! In this role, you will oversee the planning and execution of medium to large-scale events and act as a point of contact ensuring high-quality delivery. You will also oversee community engagement and sponsorship efforts in support of brand awareness and company goals. 
 

 

What Will You Do?

  • Oversees the planning and execution of medium to large scale events and act as point of contact ensuring high quality delivery. 
  • Oversees community engagement and sponsorship efforts in support of brand awareness and company goals.
  • Writes proposals for medium to large scale events.
  • Responsible for decisions such as venues, food, beverage, gifts and giveaways within budgets, dates and times of events, presentation of donations, directing volunteers.
  • Assists with developing and maintaining detailed budgets for assigned events, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Develops and maintains sponsorship and vendor relationships, acts as main point of contact.
  • Provides direction to Communications and Design teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns and supporting collateral as needed.
  • Assists with negotiations of sponsorships and partnerships as needed.
  • Engages with attendees and gathers feedback to improve future events. 
  • Monitors and reports on the success and impact of events, including engagement and sponsorship activities, to leadership.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of a calendar of events and sponsorship activities.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four to six years of experience.
  • Experience with negotiating and making decisions on venues, food, and beverage. 
  • Familiarity with event technology, including working with vendors on registration portals and event apps. 

 

 

 

 

Salary for this position can range from $65,000 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $85,000 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
