American National is currently seeking an analytical expert to join our Corporate Technology team. As a Programmer Analyst – Duck Creek, you will be given the opportunity to modify and enhance our Duck Creek Policy LOBs, assist with platform upgrades, assist with Product Studio initiatives, and offer solutions to meet business needs.
Your Impact:
• Responsible for helping to maintain our commercial policy administration system – Duck Creek
• Provide support for design and implementation of policy administration system fixes and enhancements.
• Drive resolution and creative solutions of reported system problems and program bugs
• Complete system testing to confirm business requirements, reliability and efficiency is met
• Perform complex troubleshooting and communicate potential solutions
What You Will Need to be Successful in this Role:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of two (2+) years’ experience in Duck Creek Policy support including Author, Server, Express, Skins, User Admin, Product Studio, etc.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business users, team members and executive leadership
• Professional written and oral communication skills
Our Preferences:
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or XML
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of P&C Insurance (Commercial experience a plus)
• Eager learner who is interested in participating in additional insurance and/or technology training
