American National is seeking a talented IT Client Support Technician for our South Shore Harbor/League City, TX location. The Client Support Technician position builds on the associate scope to demonstrate a high level of expertise with the installation of client computer software products, the modification and repair of hardware, and the resolution of client technical problems. This role expands relationships and job knowledge through ACE partnerships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Obtains the ability to offer high level desktop support in an enterprise environment.
  • Obtains the knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office configurations.
  • Highly skilled in the support of physical and virtual PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Exercises policies and practices for service and asset management functions.
  • Demonstrates the installation of software patches to all client device types.
  • Provides basic knowledge of scripting and automated deployment methods.

 

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree
  • Two to four years of work in an IT desktop or a service management-related field with a preference for those in a position with an emphasis on enhanced customer service and support.
  • Demonstrated use of PowerShell or Java scripting to provide automation to manual processes.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • <span 72="">Experience with hardware/software troubleshooting, Windows, Office 365, Apple and other mobile devices.
  • <span 72="">Previous experience with creating scripts
  • <span 72="">Ability to support remote and onsite employees as well as provide support via phone
  • <span 72="">A+ Certification a plus
