Team Lead of Investment and Retirement Systems

This position will lead a team of 4 developers across 2 locations, League City and Galveston, in support of multiple cloud, on premise vendor supported and internally developed systems. Systems responsibilities include: Retirement Services (401K and pension systems), Investment Accounting, Reporting and Trading Applications, and Mortgage Loan and Real Estate Systems. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Formulates direction on a variety of matters consistent with broad goals and long-term organizational objectives and provides guidance and leadership to the Investment and Retirement Services team.   
  • Develops and administers methods and techniques for driving out technical and business solutions. 
  • Critical focus on relationship management with multiple stakeholders while protecting the integrity and reliability of our systems.
  • The Team Leader is responsible for the reliability and technical health of systems and is tasked with making decisions that will positively influence the performance and up-time.

 

Qualifications:

  • A college degree and 5 years of system development work experience.
  • The successful Team Leader must be dynamic, able to multi-task, and be detail oriented.
  • Experience with any of the following systems or disciplines would be beneficial - Camra Investment Accounting, FIS Relius, FIS OFAC, Yardi Systems and/or Precision LM.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills and the ability to coordinate technical resources to meet business objectives.
  • Experience with project coordination, change management and audit exposure is preferred. 
  • Ability to work out of Galveston and League City.
