Claims Representative

 

As a Property Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for managing and resolving property insurance claims from start to finish from a desk. This role involves evaluating claims, determining coverage, and negotiating settlements with policyholders. You will work closely with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims. Your expertise in property damage assessment and insurance policies will be crucial in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and fairness. In this role you will be working full-time from our Springfield, MO office.

 

What You’ll Do

 

•    Handle noninjury liability claims, which includes first-and third-party repairable losses.
•    Handle claims with a moderate level of complexity.
•    Review and analyze property insurance claims to determine coverage and liability.
•    Confirm coverage and facts of loss through the initial investigation.
•    Negotiate settlements with policyholders and ensure claims are resolved efficiently.
•    Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the claims process.

 

What You’ll Need

 

•    At least 2 years of claims handling experience
•    Currently hold an appropriate state adjuster license or obtain following date of hire (American National will incur fees associated / No out of pocket expenses) 
•    Excellent communication and negotiation skills
•    Ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
