As a Field Training Consultant at American National you will play a pivotal role in providing training and sales support to Ag/Comm field associates. Your primary responsibilities will be to develop, monitor, evaluate and record training program effectiveness; develop and evaluate training and educational material; evaluate agent development in correlation with the training program/process; and provide recommendations for improvement. This role is also responsible for leading new and existing projects and working with subject matter experts throughout the organization. You will excel in this role with a background in ag/comm, advanced communication skills, and experience with learning and development.  

 

 

What Will You Do?
Develops, implements, and directs nationwide agent training programs, and continuous development efforts focused on personal lines and small to medium commercial business.
Collaborates with RFE, RBC, Underwriting and Product leaders to determine training needs, conduct training assessments and identify further opportunities for improvement.
Develops and maintains training resources and materials, including organizing educational material, multimedia videos, e-learning, and other resources.
Coaches, develops, and supports agent and MLGA development in correlation with training program; evaluates progress and provides recommendations for improvement.
Partners with Underwriting and Product to create specific strategies and training initiatives to drive results.
Leads and participates in special projects for departments as required.
Provides regular reports for leaders on agents going through training programs, gauging progress, and comprehension of material.

 

 

Required Qualifications 
Bachelor's degree.
Four to six years of experience.
Experience working with Agent Experience Group, P&C Underwriting, P&C Product, Brokerage and MLA Field Associates. 
Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (required) 
  

 

Preferred Qualifications 
Experience delivering classroom or virtual training. 
Experience with adult learning concepts and techniques.
Experience in a self-driven training program (Camtasia, LMS, Articulate 360, etc.) a plus.
 

 

 

 

Salary for this position can range from $73,612 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $92,000 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
