American National is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join the Service Oriented Architecture Team to develop integration solutions for the enterprise using IBM IIB/ACE and IBM API Connect technologies.

 

Essential Functions and Duties:


•    Design, develop and implement integration solutions using IBM IIB/ACE and IBM API Connect, adhering to best practices and standards
•    Work with various teams to understand and develop the required integration solutions
•    Ensure that integration solutions meet performance, scalability and security requirements
•    Perform unit testing and debugging of integration solutions to ensure functionality and performance meet requirements
•    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within a production environment
•    Provide optimal Customer Service to all internal and external clientele

 

Education and Technical Requirements:


•    Bachelors’ degree in MIS, CIS or Computer Science preferred
•    Object-oriented programming experience (Java, .NET) 6 years (Preferred)
•    SQL, XML/JSON and Web Services (Soap and REST) 6 years (Preferred)
•    IBM IIB/ACE or IBM API Connect experience 6 years (Preferred)
•    IBM MQ experience a plus
•    Strong written, verbal, customer service and analytical skills are necessary
•    Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change
•    Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum is a plus
•    Must be self-motivated, team oriented, and able to function successfully with minimal supervision
•    Must be able to work occasional night and weekend hours
