Director, Marketing Strategy & Creative Services

American National is seeking a full-time, marketing, and creative strategy professional, who has leadership experience. To thrive in the role, you should be able to demonstrate your skills in developing effective full life cycle marketing plans and driving results. Your expertise will support which campaign strategies to utilize, how to best generate leads/interest, and finally turning recommendations into conversion.   
 

Placement Location: Springfield, MO.


 
How you will make an impact: 

  • Train, develop, inspire, and lead team members
  • Responsible for implementing, supporting, and executing the marketing vision and strategy for the Multiple Line Distribution channels
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure marketing alignment and prioritization; developing and delivering marketing strategies, campaigns, and tactics to support growth and profitability 
  • Oversee marketing strategy and creative service teams to ensure the timely, effective, and on-budget completion of marketing plans and other projects 
  • Establish and implement consistent branding and operative creative tactics to achieve campaign objectives and company goals
  • Develop core understanding of the company’s target markets and opportunity areas, including competitive position, market share, distribution channels, and risk appetite 
  • Manage and measure marketing workflow, budgeting and compliance, in consideration of regulations, and internal policies to ensure the successful completion of projects 
  • Report campaign results to senior leadership
  • Recommend and manage testing strategies
  • Glean insight from campaigns and projects to identify areas of improvement 

 
Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Advertising, Marketing, preferred)
  • Professional leadership experience (Overseeing work performance/counsel, and training) 
  • Full life cycle, marketing strategy planning and implementation experience
  • In depth knowledge of market concepts/principals
  • Comfortable presenting in both formal/informal groups 
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
