Underwriting Services Analyst I 
The Underwriting Department is seeking a Service Analyst who will represent the area in a true partnership, identifying and providing solutions that create an environment conducive to success.   • Represent the interest(s) of the P&C Underwriting Department and routinely interact with various internal departments such as: CTS Data Governance and Support, User Access Administration, CTS Governance, Research and Development, Actuarial, and Corporate Technology Services (Liaison role, attending business meetings to achieve goals)
  • Identify and proactively respond to issues as they arise, upholding ownership until resolution
  • Design, develop, implement and maintain various systems, projects and initiatives, including the establishment of ‘Best Practices’ and monitoring results
  • Identify and execute quality assurance target reviews for P&C Underwriting,  providing recommendations based upon observations
  • Manage system access requests (onboarding and offboarding of team members) working closely with the user and Corporate Technology Services
  • Manage bi-annual system audit, ensuring user access is compliant with regulatory requirements



  • 4-year completed degree or applicable work experience required, industry designations such as CPCU, AU, AINS, preferred
  • Minimum of one-year work experience in the industry or related field, required
  • Work experience as a Commercial Lines Associate Underwriter, Underwriting Assistant. Or Underwriter,  desired
  • Knowledge in ISolutions, CLAS, and Commercial Lines Mainframe desired with the aptitude to effectively navigate a computer system and possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft software programs (Excel,  Word, Outlook)
  • Be an innovative thinker-striving to “Think outside the box”
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize requests
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and work well under deadlines
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and be self-motivated
